yes i did have the problem befor i added the exhaust and weber carb. as for the coil type is unknown but i have had it for about 4 years, for as long as ivehad the car atleast.

Hauling a 67 foot square body around will cause any 1275cc engine to sputter, with or without a Weber. ;-) Were I you, I'd take a close look at either the coil or coil wire. The symptoms you describ
