I posted a picture in photopoint of the dash of my 67 1/2 1600. The hole to the left of the tach is where it is located. (I purchased the car without a key and unscewed it to make hotwiring easier).

My old 1967 1600 had the ignition switch on the steering column. I checked all the magazine articles I have for the low screen 2000 and they all show a column mounted ignition switch. I have seen a 1
