I am having some over heating issues and the Roadster is in the shop. VIN number on the car just off of the Title. Checking on Datsunparts.com I have verified that the VIN suggests that it is a 68. W

As far as I know all the 1600's used the same water pump. There is an engine serial number stamped on the top edge of the block, on the distributor side of the engine. Check that number. There are 3

Paul, you are correct about the 40000, I had a brain fart! I also screwed up saying that the pump I asked for fir the R20 engine, it was a H20 engine. One thing though, I don't think Nissan built a 4

The car VIN is stamped on top of the frame near the left side upper A-Arm. Not that this would help much because they didn't really keep good records of the production dates. You can tell if it is a

My parts manual lists 6 different part numbers for 1600 water pumps. Scott's Rising Sun manual printed in 1987 says there were 3 different style pumps for 1600s. Cast iron on the 3 main motors, Cast

And then add some variations for aftermarket pumps from 3rd parties and I suspect that there're quite a few differences out there...
