- The speaker is (was) in the fiber "modesty" panel that covers the underside of the dash area on the passenger side. These panels are frequently missing. I think they were being reproduced at one time

- They are available in a hard plastic repro, around $64 for the pair, from Moss and others. Sadly, these can crack, as my teenage son taught me. They also come way over-sized, requiring trimming. They
