- The original electronic ignition has been replaced by a Crane unit. This operated very well until recently. The engine stops in a manner that would bring you to believe the ignition was turned off. T

- Substitution is the only way to fault these units, unlike good old reliable points. Points would be the best thing to substitute with but if your distributor is the original type this probably isn't
