The 79B daily driver has died three times in the last two weeks. Twice just after starting, once after driving 10 miles and pulling into a parking space. After each time, it has started right back up

That kind of failure is pretty indicative of a bad ignition amplifier. Kelvin Dodd Behalf many both desmogged.

I had a similar problem with my 71 MGB, I could really tell a story here, but, suffice to say in the spirit of moving on a friend of mine in the Tidewater MB club found the culprit to be a defective

Here's one more thing to check: Are your battery cables tight? I took the "B" out for a test drive one night last summer and it quit at the end of my block. I pushed it to the curb and when I tried
