- For most V-8 conversions, a 9" Ford rear is overkill. Most common rears seem to be Ford 8" and MGC. Since the MGC rears are becoming very rare, the 8" Ford is the most common choice at this time. The

- The 3.70 is in a roadster with a mild 215, T-5 trans with a .63 5th gear. I have around 18,000 miles on the car, & will eventually swap in a 3.55 8" Ford. I used the 3.70 MGC because I had it on hand
