- First the head also will give it away, no plug for the water temp sensor on a 948 head. Only if you use the thicker backing plate and then there can still be issues with the clutch hitting the tranny

- OK...sitting on my bench is a complete 948 and a 1098. I'm going to do a complete, pretty much, stock rebuild. I want dependability. Carburetion is not an issue. So which one do I rebuild to stick in
