I have heard from someone that the Rivergate kit assumes that you are putting in a 1275 and is not engineered for the 948. Something about the clutch, I think. I don't know about the MorissService c

It does just like the 948 did before except you now have overdrive and a syncro first gear. Now add a 206 head, stout cam, 40 DCOE, and LBC. Then you can keep up with the 1275's and still get 40 mpg.
