Hi Jahn, With the exception machining for the intake locating rings this head is identical to the 12G295. They each have 1" exhaust and 1 7/32 intake valves. They are both nice heads to put on 948 or

rarer it Same as a 295 but fitted to automatic 1100s and Wolseley Hornets/Riley Elfs. Rare only due to the different number cast into the top. Good head for a 998-1098 but has larger chambers so pist
