Only the rim is chrome on new chrome wheels. The spokes are stainless steel so as to avoid hydrogen embrittlement that comes about through the chroming process. So, between the cost to strip and rec

If you want chrome wire wheels, your best option is to buy a new set. I strongly recommend that you _do not_ chrome an old painted wire set. The chroming process makes the spokes brittle and they ha
