I'm changing the starter, exhaust manifold with a header and So, is there anything thing this novice should pay special attention to while doing these changes? Thanks!

make sure the contact area on the header, where it seals to the head, is flat, and lines up to the ports correctly. I've put on 2 headers, and they both needed to be machined straight to seal. One o

Even if it is a 1600, use a 2000 starter. Make sure you clean off all the old gaskets on both intake and exhaust manifold. Get a set of extra knuckles, you're bound to break one or two. And keep any
