It could be more than timing. There are probably 1/2 dozen things that will make it idle rough. My first suspect is a balance between the carbs. I have never heard of anyone talk about it. It is too

You'll have to open up the distributor and take out the cam gear and see what's stamped on it. If it says 7.5 you use 16 degrees if it says 17.5 you use 0 degrees. I would open it up anyway to lube e
