Well it happened finally.. the Bugeye died. Thankfully it was just past the driveway and my son was driving it. Quick diagnosis indicated no spark to plug wires. Jumped 12v to coil, still no spark so

Dear AAARRGGHHHHH!!!, Get brave! Take the cap off the dizzy and look to see if the points are closed up!!! Or the rotor has some carbon tracks. It's pretty easy to replace those 2 and the condensor!

The report: Good news is I've got it running more or less ok.. Bad news is I can't see why it stopped. Diagnosis was points closed, HOWEVER, I blocked the points open and still had a circuit to groun

To avoid the knee pad issue and the fright of disappearing screws, mark the dizzy clamp and the dizzy flange there with a screwdriver. Take off the cap and the wire on the side, loosen the clamp bolt

Hello Lester, oh yeah, i remember now.. easiest way to change and set the points it to just pull the dizzy out and work on the bench! the drive dog instead of gear makes it impossible to put the dizz
