Paul, I didn't know about any Allard family member succeeding Sidney but it's sure possible. My understanding was that the Arkus-Duntov Bros. designed the Ardun heads in the US and later on had some

Hi Paul, I don't know about the Allard connection, but Duntov's Ardun poweded Allard is only an hours drive away from me. The V8-60 Arduns were made in Germany, I once owned the test engine. They use

Don Orasco made a short run of new Ardun heads to spread the cost of the ones he wanted. I understand the selling price of these heads was VERY high. A set showed up at El Mirage in a 37 Ford slant b

I'm certain that I fit the "crazy enough" part, but I know my wallet won't. I was just curious. I think I'll have to stick with my old Evans flatheads and the ol' elephant hemi, and leave the Arduns
