Hi everybody, I've gotten a little frustrated trying to remove the head from my MGB engine. All the manuals told me exactly what the problem was going to be, the the head will be stuck onto the studs

We had a similar discussion on the Triumphs list recently, and I had the same problem a while back. What worked for me was Ye Olde Rope Trick, a few feet of nylon rope stuffed into the plug hole, so

The answer to well stuck down heads is not to use any form of gasket cement in the first place. I have never known any quality engine maker that uses gasket cements. Kind regards from: | Alternative
