- It's all bad for you. Don't sniff any of it. Sand is the worst. I use it for blasting outdoors because it's cheap, but I wear a good respirator and I try to stay up wind. BZ

- i believe glass / silica dust is the cause of what i think was told , "silicosis". your body can eject / evict some if inhaled particulate matter. but not all of it! same with catalised paints! i kno
