Once the front of the car is our of the way,(bonnet and radiator on the bugeye) it isn't that tough a job. I pulled mine out last weekend for a clutch change and it took about 1.5 hours to get it out

Judging by the speed of spread (I didn't put it through my hand held viscosity meter) I'd say it's about an '88 vintage 20w50. Smells like old Castrol. not sure which vineyard. Steve

Mike Like everyone else said with one exception. You do NOT have to remove the steering column from the rack. Just undo the 2 nuts on that motor mount/engine. Remove the 3 bolts from the other motor

I pulled the 948 engine and tranny using the valve cover bolts. I must admit that I didn't like the idea of it. I went ahead with it, because I figured if I can't trust this manual then I am in deep

I have crushed a few valve covers and bent a few V/C bolts. With proper washers (like the thrust washers from the king pin) they work fine. Valve cover removed. Lately I use manifold bolt and a spark
