When I adjusted the position of my steering wheel by adjusting my tie rod ends the steering wheel returned to its original position in a few miles. Doesn't make any sence to me but one of my friends

Me neither. If that is 'lock the wheel' it still makes no sense. Once the tie rods are adjusted and the lock nut is tightened down there is no reason for that adjustment to change in a few miles unle
