Here's a good explanation. THE SURFACE STILL SUCKS--BIG TIME!!!!! When suposedly low horsepower cars(GS) beat SS and AS cars, and they didn't miss beating ESP by much either, then there is something

I guess ASP isn't counted as high HP. Jeffrey Gordon, in his RX7T, turned fifth fastest time of day overall. Forget the index, that's soft for GS, at least. Jesus, I don't remember seeing your name o

Is a better P/W ratio really the _only_ advantage that SS cars have? They also tend to be better balanced with a lower CG than GS. That should equate to more nimble even under impaired traction! Many

I'll agree on the calmer approach to do well at that site, Jeffreys RX7tt is not as high on HP as other ASP cars can be, like Campbells Viper and I'll bet he didn't use 1/4 throttle on his last run(

Yes, there were some very talented drivers in GS this Sunday, nothing against any of them, I have alot of respect for all of them. There were some pretty good drivers in SS and the other classes too.

The GS did have a great day as we all agree. The reason for this is just in my opinion. The GS cars have very sloppy suspensions for the street and do not get affected much at the tire level by being

The only other non-GS time in the top 8 PAX times was 3rd and it belonged to a shifter kart. You can't get any stiffer suspension than no suspension at all. How do you explain that then? --Navid --Or
