Thanks again to the list Exchange unit fixed the problem - Easy job (or so I thought) - getting the pulley off the old unit was interesting to say the least -- dug out the junior hacksaw in the end -

David and all, One way to avoid cutting off the old pulley, as David had to do, is to bring the exchange alternator with you to the auto parts store. The counter person will probably have an impact w
