- Hey gang, My alternator seems to have died. Battery measures a lower voltage running than off. After charging it, it slowly drops until dead. Isn't there something with the ignition lamp or other war

- Shame on you Now you know what the ignition warning light is for Your alt is knackered Bad alt diodes (short-circuit) will also flatten the battery while it is parked Either or both. Get a new alt. P
