- Well I took everyone's advise... went to the auto parts store today at lunch. A 10Si (generic GM) alternator, brand new chromed 'j' braket, and an adapter cable for the connector... grand total with

- Paul, Why not "upgrade" to a Bosch unit? The Bosch alternator for a Ford Fiesta is a direct plug equivalent to the Lucas alternator (sorry I do not know the part #). I went through 3 alternators in
