- Is this done before or after the plate is rolled and welded? If before wouldn't the welded seams rust?

- Good question, Doug. It is done after, as you couldn't join the flat stock into a welded tube if it were coated in the sheet. The coating would contaminate the weld. The question to ask is how well w
