You are correct about compression ratio, however these heads were designed for the lager displacement (swept volume) motors that also have smaller piston compression height and deck height clearance

The Edelbrock performer heads with the 2.02 valves fits find in the Tiger with no external modification. Cooling did seem to improve and you do have 50lb., less in the front end. I would recommend t
