I got an email from Norm Miller saying the wire should be Pink, when everybody tells me it should be Brown. Below is his email. Is this some kind of joke, but this is the return address I found under

My Shop Manual shows the wire from the voltage regulator is "WR" (white/red) or pink? Bob

My manual show a 'N' - brown on one side of the gauge and 'WR' - white with red stripe connecting to the 'N'- brown at the B of the control box (regulator). My MK IA has two 10 gauge brown wires conn

Well, of course if you have the ammeter there, the 'N'-brown wire won't be at the regulator, otherwise, it would carry the current instead of the through the ammeter. Bob
