I just read a post by someone on this subject and wasn't sure if the following was answered. I want to put a '69 tach in a '67 that has been converted to negative ground. However, don't the '67s have

That post was from myself. I don't really know about the 69 but my 68 has the same wrap around type thing as the 67 does. If the 69 tach is connected to a car presently and is working I'm not to sure

Hey Randy, If you don't mind, explain the "wrap around type thing" you were talking about a little clearer. My cars original wiring was all hacked up, and the tach that was in there was far from corr

The white wire actually loops through a rectangular piece of plastic which in turn sits on a double spade type terminal on the tach, which has a small hold down clamp held on by a little knurled nut.

That's correct. If I remember correctly, it matters which way it wraps around the plastic piece. If it doesn't work, try it the other way. Ulix __/__,__ ..............................................
