No, they're both just normal right-hand threads. 1/4-28 NF if memory serves. Most likely, the threads are already damaged, but, continue working it back and forth and see if you can work it a little

As I understand the Bentley manual, the trunnion itself should simply unscrew from the vertical link. The manual also points out that one side is left hand threads and the other is right hand threads
