Rick I had the same problem a few years back. I used Lexan (brand) plexiglass, it is very bendable for the compound curves. It will take 3 strong men to fit it in the rubber and top at the same time.

Damn, they might have stopped making them then. I called before you and gave them the serial number of my top and told them what it was for. They then told me that they had a complete seal kit for $8

I did use Lexan brand clear plastic like material. It was Lexan for sure since I still have a few small pieces with the label on it. When I said torch, I meant to warm it slightly. I actually used a
