Has anaybody ever looked into the Pecos Texas Tire Test Track as apossible LSR venue. I think Hot Rod Magazine ran a high speed shootout there (closed event) a few years back. Maybe David knows the

They have a 9-mile paved, banked oval there which they rate for 200mph. I know there were circular LSR events run at Bonneville in the distant past. Maybe it would be of interest to add such an event

That 100 mile record does look pretty soft....... Although the SilverState course is only 90 miles, somebody always averages over 200 eachrace. I'm sure that if they had another 10 miles, a lot of th
