What do youse guys use to seal the thermostat housing studs to the block? I'm, of course, leaking coolant around the threads. Didn't even think about it. Plain ol' pipe dope? Did I miss any other stu

Pipe dope should work. I have done OK with silicone RTV. If it leaks up around the nuts it could be the gasket surface not sealing, either instead of or in addition to the threads. I usually seal wat
