Hi John The panel behind the front tire has to be removed 5 or 6 bolts and a couple of Philips head screws. The screws are usually a bear lots of Kroil. Good luck Philip Schulert

When looking under the wheel well, go to the left side of the plate (the side closest the engine). You should find three bolts along this edge, one high, one low and one in the middle. Remove these

I'll second the use of a K-Mart electric antenna. Installed one on my '80 B in 1993. It was still working fine when I sold it last Spring. Have one in my '66 B now. Can't beat the value. Norm Sippel
