My personal favorite is the battery disconnect switch. Since I installed my rollbar, I moved the battery to the trunk, where it is securely tied down. I installed one of those brass cut off switches

Mine is a length of scaffolding tube, flattend at one end and drilled with a 1/2" hole, cut to fit over the handbrake lever in the 'on' position, the other end up against the gearlever in 1st or 4th,

My favorite was done by an ingenious Merc*d*s-B*nz owner who's hood ornament kept getting swiped; a modified coil hooked up direct, 40,000 volts. Also probably illegal, but nobody ever complained...

Mike, I used a similar trick when parking my Volvo in NYC. I pulled the wire off the coil. Car won't start, and it's doughtful that the thief will pry open the hood and start trouble shooting. Cheers

I use a quick and easy way of disabling my RBB... when parking, I reach under the dash and extend the inertia switch for the fuel pump. (it's intended to shut off the fuel pump in the event of a roll
