The safest place for my 16' long chute cables is inside the frame tubes. My Frame is 1 7/8" OD x .120 wall mild steel tubing. I'm thinking the best place is at a cross member junction. Drill in the c

My recommendation would be to weld a tube thru the tubing. It is important to keep salt out of the inside of the chassis. joe

Thanks Joe That was the direction I was heading. I was planning on sealing the hole with silicone to insulate the cable and seal out the salt like you pointed out. Thanks for the help. Otto
