Has anybody heard of "Auction Sniper" or something to that effect? I saw it once on an e-bay page and was going to check it out and of course can't find it now. Man, I'm tired of getting weenied out

This action seems to be SOP on ebay. It's happened to me and I'm sure just about everyone else. These people don't usually bid until the last few seconds before the auction elapses. I caught it once

Ebay has a feature call "autobid". You set the maximum you will pay and it ahead of those bidding. Now if others are using autobid... I don't have a clue what happens. At least you have your maximum.
