- Fellow Datsun nuts, Can anyone confirm that a 69 Datsun pickup was indeed a PL520 or PL521 and was equipped with 4.37 H-190 differential that is interchangeable with the Roadsters? Out of curiosity,

- I have a friend that has a 510 wagon and he says the roadster rear axle will fit. I cant confirm this though. Ken Datster

- Unless I am mistaken the 510 wagon rear axle is a direct bolt in for the early roadsters. It will fit the 67.5 - 70 roadsters as a direct bolt in as well, BUT it does not have a torque strut mount. S

- The pickup truck differential will fit in a roadster, but the truck axles are larger in diameter than the roadster ones. You will need to disassemble the truck diff and use roadster side gears for it

- The WPL510 will have either a 3.70:1 or 3.90:1 rear depending on year and auto/manual transmission. The published data on year splits is not really reliable (even the DAtsun service manual stuff). I

- The 620 ran from '73 to '79, the 720 from '80 to '85. Ratios were all over the place, from 3.70:1 up to 4.375:1 I think (not positive). Generally, 4WD trucks will have higher numerical ratio rears. T
