Dear David, Why would you want gas struts for your GT hatch? The springs on my 1970 still work great to hold the lid up, whereas I've never seen any gas struts that would perform properly over a peri

My CGT is 30 years old this year, and still has the original springs that hold up the hatch...I don't think you'll ever see that kinda life expectancy from some gas filled air struts.... Dave

Except for the wheels that are in good shape, the only thing that still works on the 66BGT I just got from John are the hatch lift springs. If it ain't broke..... Kelvin.
