- BSP is British Standard Pipe. From what I know the thread is the same but it does not taper. When you screw a piece of BSP into NTP it will bottom out and not seal. To connect the two types together

- Couldn't you get an electrical contracter to thread one end of a nipple then let a plumber thread the other end??? Chet
