- I would consider the points or condenser first. Ignition coils don't fail very often and a set of points and condenser is very cheap compared to a coil. And if you really want to just start throwing

- This is a good possibility, but, usually if there's an ignition = problem, the car quits all together without warning. What do you mean, = exactly, by "running poorly'? Did it sputter, bog, or lunge
