A groupe 26 should fit. It is hard to get in there though. Miata batteries ar very hard to find, and expensive, but any Mazda dealer will have them. I can't remember, but I heard list was either $120

Yeah, if you think about removing all the blankets, maps etc. that live on that shelf, then unsnapping half-a-dozen carpet snaps, then getting a screwdriver out of the glove box (or worse, the boot)
