It is time to install a top on my project 71B. Went to Porter's DIY and found good instructions but I am at a loss as to what type of "glue" to use. Any suggestion as to type and brand? Thanks, Bill

Consider "Goop". It's flexible, waterproof and has worked well on MGA and TD hoods. These have wood header bars. I don't know if the MGB uses the wood bar or not. I've never glued the whole thing to

Goop is good as Blake points out, but the best I've found is 3M Upholstery Adhesive (number 80, I believe). It's a spray adhesive and excellent holding and resistance to drying and curling. Cheers, L

One thing to consider - since the new tops have to be glued to the header bar, you have to separate the header bar from the old top first. With that in mind, you want to make sure the glue is a pliab
