Andy: Rust-Oleum make several primers for various degrees of rust. I have used the one for heavy rust. I like it but it takes forever to dry, longer that the can says in my experience. Bob Donahue (S

Try Rustoleum damp red primer. I used it on my TD 35 years ago. It is still working.I used their black top coat over it, and when I went back in to the area a couple of years ago, it looked just lik
