Michael and Joe There is something strange about this part number. I find AEC3207 listed in the Austin A95 & A105 parts list as - Screw - cover to housing! However the laygear for this gearbox is AEC

Many thanks John, You are absolutely correct. As is common on the part number stamping the operator held the stamp at a bit of an angle and the tops of the numbers are not formed. Now when I look clo
