Greetings all, I plan sandblasting and painting a set of steel wheels (they happen to be Herald wheels) and wondered what I should do to the inside of the rim where the tire contacts it... do I paint

Hi John Definitely paint or coat with something, that damp forecourt air (you do have air at Gas stations don't you) will soon have the insides as rusty as a horseshoe if you don't. Graham, 1967 1300

I sandblasted 5 wire wheels. I gave them 3 coats of self etching primer, 2 coats of acrylic primer then 3 finish coats of approved silver/gray ALL OVER. Good luck Bob Stahlbush 66 MGB GHN3L 78708 60
