When I replaced my slave cylinder a year or two ago, I had the typical trouble - no matter how much I bled, the system still had air. Someone on this Digest had the solution. And, I don't remember wh

Someone suggested jacking up the right side of the car and then bleeding it - don't remember if this was for an A or a B or both. Haven't had to try it yet so don't know if it works or not. Rick -- h

My own personal methods of bleeding the brakes when they refuse to cooperate: 1. Go around and tap on everything brake related, to jar bubbles loose. 2. Make sure all of the bleeder screws will loose

When I replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders and the tubing (with an extra curl in it) last year, I had no idea how to bleed so I partially filled the reservoir and with a mityvac, filled th

Not enough sleep. I assume anybody that has any interest in my brake-bleeding method will be able to infer what the method would be for the clutch. Perhaps the step that might make the difference wou

When I did mine, I pushed fluid into a dry system via the bleed screw until I filled the reservoir 3/4 full. I then had a friend give the pedal two pumps to push the residual bubbles out of the slave

Having read of others problems I used a Gunsons EeziBleed on very low pressure to fill the system from the slave nipple. Didn't need any pumping or bleeding and I got the full (1/2" or so) travel rig

Once you have gone through the usual routines and find a problem still exists, try filling the MC, cracking the bleeder just to get a drip, and leave it to drip for a couple of hours. This seems to

One of the guys in our club recirculates the fluid as you suggested, with the variation that he hooks the long tube to an inline fuel filter before letting the fluid back into the MC. Bob /// or try
