- why would you reassemble ANYTHING that gets really hot without an anti-seize compound applied to the threads first? I even put it on my wheel studs. After twelve years of my X2B driving her Spitfire.

- Hi Neil et al, The only studs I replace with bolts on a B engine (dual carb) are the two studs on either end of the exhaust manifold. These are the only two exhaust/intake studs that go through holes
