Does the V-channel in the rubber boot lid seal face towards the shroud or face inwards to allow the seal to collapse upon closing of the boot lid? Looking at various pictures, I see it installed both

Hi Jim, Simply look at the cross section of the seal. There is one 90 degree corner. This fits into the 90 degree edge of the boot lid (where the large inner surface of the lid meets the side return)
