By the way, a search for Courier master cylinders shows a bore of 7/8" (0.875") instead of the 0.75" reported earlier. Could this be because it's been rebuilt and the bore is that much larger afterwa

Never mind; I see that the bore size changed in 1977 to 7/8". Prior to that they were 3/4". this configuration, can to early WITH brake car.
