Do NOT use DOT 3 brake fluid in your LBC!!!!! Dot 3 will eat all the rubber in the system! (I know this because I learned the hard way)! Use only DOT 4 or Silicone, but do not mix the two. Rick Ehler

At last I have found some info that clarifies the brake fluid numbering system, and I thought I'd relay it to the list.. to summarize: DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 are all glycol (mineral?) based fluids.
