Just to weigh in with my two cents. I'm no expert in braking systems, but Castrol GT LMA fluid has always worked wonderfully in my LBCs over the years. It's DOT 3 and DOT 4 compatible, so you should

Split washers (aka "lock washers), IMHO would be the last way to attempt to lock the caliper bolts in. The ideal would be to safety wire them in place. Along with Lok-Tite. And the locking tabs. (Can
